Rayceen Pendarvis Interview

Rayceen Pendarvis is a legendary gay rights advocate from the D.C. area. Pendarvis led a crowd in a prayer in “Black Lives Matter” Plaza, days after the Trump administration forcibly removed protesters from the area near Lafayette Square in June.

From an interview they did with the Washington Blade, “The 70-year-old Washingtonian has seen the 1963 March on Washington, has marched for marriage equality and has been a part of every Pride celebration in the city, including Black Pride, Trans Pride, Youth Pride, Latinx Pride and Capital Pride.”

Pendarvis enjoys bringing people together and giving a voice to those who are voiceless. As the host of the popular “Ask Rayceen” show, Pendarvis moderates various panels and talks on their YouTube Channel. Krylios is the co-host of the show. Please watch and subscribe to their channel.
